开云电子体育|中国有限公司外语学院创建于2004年，拥有英语、翻译、商务英语、法语、德语、日语、朝鲜语、西班牙语和阿拉伯语九个本科专业，2021年成功获批上海市翻译专业学位硕士点提早培育项目。经过20年建设，外语学院已经逐步形成“外语+”的特色人才培养模式，在提高学生的专业基础、创新意识、实践能力等综合素质上下功夫，强化实践教学育人环节，培养“一精多会”、“一专多能”的高素质复合型外语专业人才。
外语学院现有在校生1725人，专任教师136人，包括26位教授，22位副教授，博士占比33%。此外，每个专业长期聘任外教1-2人。
学院拥有《习近平谈治国理政》多语种语料库综合平台、Ebook Central（英语）、Cairn（法语）、Digital Bibliothek Deutscher Klassiker（德语）、Prisma（西班牙语）、KISS（韩语）、Al Manhal（阿拉伯语）等大型电子图书及期刊数据库，并建有多语种自主试验实训中心（配备i-test、i-write和“译学家”软件），以及英国厅、西班牙厅和日本厅情景教学实训室。
外语学院目前已与国外20余所著名大学建立了合作关系，并专设奖学金，竭力为学生在海外一流大学的学习生活创造条件。每年组织学生赴英国、美国、德国、法国、西班牙、日本、韩国、埃及等国进行海外文化体验和游学活动。

Educational Objectives: Following the principle of “solid foundation and high adaptability,” SFL is dedicated to the cultivation of innovative talents with foreign language proficiency and transferable skills. In addition, patriotism, social responsibility, and global vision are some of the core values we adhere to in our education.
School of Foreign Languages (SFL), Xianda College of Economics & Humanities, SISU was established in 2004. It offers nine undergraduate programs in English, Translation, Business English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic. In 2021, SFL was granted the incubation program for the Master of Translation and Interpreting (MTI) by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. After 20 years of development, SFL has established a featured educational model known as “foreign languages +”. SFL strives to help students become interdisciplinary talents with language proficiency and knowledge in multi-fields. To achieve this goal, we focus on strengthening their academic foundations, and developing their innovative and practical abilities.
SFL currently has 136 full-time faculty members (33% of them holding a doctoral degree), including 26 full professors and 22 associate professors, serving 1,725 on-campus undergraduate students. In addition, there is one to two full-time native language teachers for each undergraduate program.
Apart from the university’s library resources, our students also have access to online resources such as multilingual corpora of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, and large digital databases such as Ebook Central (English), Cairn (French), Digital Bibliothek Deutscher Klassiker (German), Prisma (Spanish), KISS (Korean), and Al Manhal (Arabic). SFL also has a Self-access Language Learning Center (equipped with the software of i-test, i-write and “Transcorda”) as well as British Hall, Spanish Hall and Japanese Hall, the classrooms for situational language teaching.
So far, SFL has established cooperative relations with more than 20 renowned universities abroad and has set up special scholarships for students to study and live in the first-class universities overseas. Every year, study tours are organized for students to visit and experience foreign cultures in such countries as the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Egypt, and so forth.
